i am with the poet . is an (art fusion) platform for my sonic landscapes (minimal harp in landscape music that reflects and evokes landscape, nature and place) and spoken word projects. With harp and soul and multi-media i make myself known via sound sculptures and harPoetry : a voice beyond words and the unspoken.
poetry of silence
My sonic landscapes are compared with sound-sculptures (3D), a scenery where the notes can be touched and a place where one can walk around in the note score as it were. Stillness is fundamental to make music tangible. How and when i mold my strings define the music. Silence and the intention between one and the other note give the listener time and space to experience the music as a real sculpture. The creation of a sound-sculpture is an organic and intuitive process ; coloring, grading, movement and texture happen simultaneously, light and shadow are inherent. The audio quality of my harp sounds and musical architecture are crucial to make my compositions work.
A (hq) headset is my favorite way of listening - in silence / in my own time and space \ to sonic art or a spoken word project. The sound experience is very personal and effective, the heart and soul of the listener resonates immediately, because the auditor is isolated, therefore more focused and in touch with the artist. The combination of earphones and sound art is an immersive way during an aural journey to understand poetry and feel the music.
