HARP DIVINATIONS FOR HOPEFUL TIMES
At the moment I am engaged in an exciting project where I am developing a platform called 'I am a Harpist in a Landscape - seeking clarity through mysticism.' that explores the intricate relationship between mysticism and the harp in order to find an aligned and clear language. These writings, words and sentences come from my divine instrument, the 'harpa mystica'. As if the 47strings have become an oracle. When i am down to earth, grounded, I shall ask questions about the energy regarding my own thoughts and feelings about life, faith, hope and love. Furthermore, I will share how my harp and soul, my intuition, are my main mediums in unraveling the unheard, the unseen and the unspoken. I intent to create an inspirational space with (digital) 'divination cards' (solo harp) for the reader. Through free harp improv. recordings (based on the senses), insightful texts / my passion, curiosity, desire, restlessness, insecurity, despair (life is really felt in absence) are filtered in the serenity of my harp talk. It all brings an earthling like me self knowledge, the practice that leads to sheer joy :)
My ideas, concepts and literary interpretations, come from my inner knowing, my intuition, therefore I concider myself an expert by experience. The writing will be an introduction about the 'harpa mystica'. What does it mean to be a harp mystic, and how do i define mysticism? And i will elobarate on the mystical aspect of being a harpist in a landscape. I plan to share these one takers, yet instant 'harp talks' as a digital album. My spiritual sound search is captured in my garden for an unfiltered and authentic (no mix or mastering) feel. We will be renovating our home in the coming months. / The process of creating a room of one's own is quite exhilerating. I am collaborating with an excellent studio builder named Quintin Beekman, with the aim to create the optimal recording space for my hq composition and sound production projects. And i found out about an amazing garden architect, Linda van de Lavoir, recommended to me by Piet Oudolf himself, she shall create a hortus botanicus, complementing our home and my atelier, a natural place where i can be myself and have a dialogue, just like my muse Emily Dickinson. I am an incredibly lucky bird !
September this year i will start recording my studio album called 'Harpa Mystica', all improvised harp solos.
For now: carpe diem ..with music and love.

As a tone poet and harp mystic i offer an in tune and a clear frequency. A language that resonates within the listener, evokes and expresses life questions (Who am I?, What makes one tick? e.g.), and exploration that reveals the heart's desire. I am with V. Woolf : 'I want to write a novel about silence. The things people don’t say.' Being playful with harp and soul, with Music & Love, is our essence to enjoy Life !"
